Trade-offs

Why we drew the lines where we did.

Why no SMS?

Text messaging looks cheap and isn't. Between carrier fees, 10DLC registration, and the labor to keep opt-outs clean, SMS quietly eats $15-40/mo per operator. Email deliverability from a warmed-up sending domain covers 95% of the "did they see it?" problem for booking confirmations and review requests. We may add SMS later as an opt-in add-on, but not to justify a higher base price.

Why the under-$30 hard cap?

Detailers already pay $150-300/mo across Housecall Pro or Jobber, Square, Calendly, Mailchimp, NiceJob, and a spreadsheet. Undercutting one of them isn't enough. Coming in under $30 for the full stack is the positioning - it's the only number that makes the switch obvious.
